Good morning followers and friends. It has been awhile since I posted – little has changed, the earth continues to confirm it’s abuse and neglect. Our political picture is that of a macabre parade, uninvited and difficult to ignore.
So this morning something different, a poem of sorts –
If there was war, it was distant – The politics, if any, were local – We are artist, refined but rural – We met like two brushes moving effortlessly on the same canvas – We are peaceful, and beautiful – We are together.
These are thoughts penned this morning after waking from an unusually beautiful dream. I shared them with my wife over coffee. In the wonderful way she touches my heart, she declared it to be a poem.
Poetry, not my usual thing, but after rereading it – I see it. Reading it aloud to her, brought tears to my eyes, my throat tightened as I squeezed out, “I love you Princess”
